Mark has a passion for practicing theology, leadership formation and missional engagement in Australian contexts. He completed his undergraduate studies with Churches of Christ Theological College. Mark served in senior congregational ministry roles with Churches of Christ in Victoria and South Australia for 15 years before joining the executive leadership team with Churches of Christ in SA & NT as the Mission & Ministry Director.
For the past 10 years Mark has overseen ministry formation and accreditation as well as mission development for congregations. Mark created the ministry accreditation program and enjoys consulting with congregations on missional innovation. He has also been part of the faculty of Ministry Practice at Tabor College where he teaches Churches of Christ History & Identity, Effective Community Engagement, and is involved in student ministry placements and formation. Mark completed his Master of Theology through Stirling Theological College. He recently completed a Doctor of Ministry program through Abilene Christian University in partnership with Stirling College. His thesis is titled ‘Constructing a Theological Framework that Revitalises the Missional Nature of Churches of Christ in South Australia’. Mark is married to Verity and they have three children together.
