2019 ACOM Graduation Ceremony

Each year ACOM students graduate in the Sydney College of Divinity (SCD) graduation ceremony held at the Great Hall, Sydney University. This is always a memorable occasion for both graduates and their families and friends as it incorporates times of worship, a short address and the conferral of Diplomas and Degrees to students. The Australian College of Ministries Marquee is located on the University Lawn and is your go-to location for graduation information on the day.
Students are expected to arrive from 9:00am, to then be dressed and ready in the Great Hall antechamber before 10:00am for your pre-ceremony instructions.
On arrival please make your way to the uniform shop to be fitted with your gown and trencher. Once fitted please come and visit the ACOM staff in the ACOM Marquee located on the front lawn outside of the Great Hall. Here you will be fitted with your ACOM hood or stole, make any outstanding payments, and be directed towards the Great Hall Ante Room before 10:20am.
The Great Hall main entrance will be opened for Guests to enter by 11am, prior to this time guests will need to wait outside. Students are allowed up to three guests, please contact us should you wish to bring more guests. There are no reserved seating for guests and seats inside the Great Hall are limited.
Post Ceremony Morning Tea
After the Graduation ceremony there will be morning tea provided for you and your guests at the ACOM gazebo on the lawn. Come along for some complementary drinks and nibbles as you celebrate the completion of your studies.
ACOM organises a professional photographer for after the ceremony so you will have some beautiful photos to remember the day. These photos will be available for free to download after the ceremony from a secure online gallery accessed only by graduates and ACOM. Please note that if you would like to take part in this, these photos may be used by ACOM in the future. If you do not want your photo used by ACOM for marketing purposes, we ask that you do not have your photo taken.
