Hermeneutics Online Facilitation

Tuesday, 13th July @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Hermeneutics is a process that is always taking place. Every time we read or hear the Bible interpretation and application are taking place. The goal of this course is to provide tools and understanding so that this process is conducted in a manner that is healthy. The Bible contains texts that come from a time and place far removed from where we live today. The working assumption of this course is that Christians want to be people shaped by the Bible. The working assumption of this facilitation is that Christians want to be people shaped by the Bible. This will provide an introduction to some of the key ideas that need to be understood. Participants then take these concepts and turn them into a practical exegesis of the text, and apply that exegesis to a context.

Note that online facilitation will run between 9am – 5pm, unless otherwise specified. Participants will be provided with the Zoom link prior to the start of facilitation.

Facilitation dates will be on:
/Tuesday 8 June 2021
/Tuesday 29 June 2021
/Tuesday 13 July 2021
