Holy Land Fieldwork
ACOM 2024 Holy Land: Are you coming?
Since 2014, ACOM has welcomed over 130 people to the Holy Land, offering an immersive experience that blends academic excellence with personal pilgrimage. We invite you to join us on our next journey, where you'll explore historical sites that anchor our faith and immerse yourself in the rich culture of this ancient land.
Over two weeks, you'll participate in a program that will take you to ancient ruins and give you an opportunity to meet the people who call the Holy Land home today. Each day, you'll walk in places you've read about in the pages of your Bible and connect with the "living stones" of this special place. From the Old City of Jerusalem to Bethlehem and Nazareth, and the natural beauty of the Mount of Beatitudes and the Sea of Galilee, this trip is sure to be a transformative experience.
We're committed to fostering relationships across all faiths, which is why we'll spend time with Christians who live in the midst of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, share a Shabbat meal with a local Jewish family in Jerusalem, and meet many Muslims who call Israel and Jordan their home. You'll also have the opportunity to experience a homestay in Bethlehem and connect with the local community on a deeper level.
