SCD Graduation Ceremony

Date: Saturday 28 June 2025
Time: 11:00am
Location: Great Hall, University of Sydney

The SCD Graduation Ceremony is a formal ceremony where graduates will dress in full academic regalia (2025 hire cost TBC). As there is limited seating in the Great Hall, each student is permitted to bring up to three guests. The ceremony will be followed by drinks and nibbles on the lawns of the University of Sydney.

Guests

As there is limited seating in the Great Hall, each student is permitted to bring up to three guests. Those who wish to bring more guests will be able to register their interest closer to the date, and further tickets will be allocated if they become available at the end of the registration period.

Academic Dress

All graduating students must dress in full academic regalia (gown, trencher, and hood). Further information about the hire process and cost will be sent to students closer to the graduation date.

ACOM State Celebration

ACOM will be holding informal graduation celebrations in VIC, QLD and WA.

You will receive your certificates in the presence of ACOM staff, family and friends (all welcome), followed by drinks and nibbles. Academic dress will not be required, however, ACOM will supply trencher hats for the occasion.

Location: Fremantle Church

Absentia

If you are unable to attend a graduation ceremony or celebration, you will receive your certificates in the mail after the SCD conferral date.
