Dr Christopher Luthy brings extensive experience in cross-cultural mission, theological education, and pastoral ministry. Before joining ACOM, Chris spent more than a decade serving in Indonesia, where he lectured at Jaffray Theological College in Makassar and provided leadership to theological educators across the Christian and Missionary Alliance Indonesia network. He worked closely with Bible colleges across the country to strengthen curriculum, develop lecturers and support accreditation processes.
Chris holds a PhD in New Testament from the University of Divinity and is completing a Master of Theology. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students across biblical studies, theology, leadership and pastoral ministry, supervised masters and doctoral research, and has published books and peer-reviewed journal articles in New Testament studies.
Alongside his academic work, Chris has served in pastoral ministry in Queensland and Tasmania, led church planting initiatives, and is passionate about equipping Christian leaders for faithful ministry in diverse cultural contexts.
At ACOM, Chris serves as Mission Catalyst, helping students integrate rigorous biblical scholarship with practical, mission-focused ministry as they prepare to be Kingdom Ready.
