Edwina Blair is the Academic Quality and Research Manager at ACOM and an Associate Lecturer in Biblical Studies. She teaches Biblical Hebrew, facilitates subjects within the Biblical Studies discipline, and leads the Holy Land International Fieldwork Program. Prior to this role, she served as a church pastor within NSW Churches of Christ for almost twenty years.
Her doctoral research examined divine anthropomorphism in the Hebrew Bible, with particular attention to the depiction of God’s sense of smell within sacrificial contexts. Her research interests include divine anthropomorphism, sensory language in the Hebrew Bible, and the theology of the sacrificial system.
