George Trilford Walden was a man of generous spirit. He had a great capacity for hard work, and an ability to communicate effectively with both young and old. He had a great sense of humour and was equally at home with the pious Christians in a church assembly and profane soldiers in an army canteen. He was one of a small band of ministers who anchored the Restoration Movement firmly in New South Wales in the early twentieth century. But this book is not just about Walden. It is a window through which we can get a glimpse into the ministries and concerns of Churches of Christ a century ago.
